Images of the Hoodlebug Trail, Indiana, PA

"My" bike trail: I do share it with the people of Indiana County, PA!

The 10.5-mile bicycle trail follows the path of the 1856-era Indiana Branch of the Pennsylvania Railroad. "Hoodlebug" was the local nickname for the self-propelled passenger coach that traveled on the line until 1940.

Inhale: can you almost smell it? Japanese knotweed is invasive in your yard, but the scent of its white fountain of blossoms in fall perfumes the bike path.

My aged, faithful chariot.
